Huntington Center for Performing Arts is a 4000 square foot, state of the art facility dedicated to fostering an appreciation for all the performing arts (dance, music & theater) by providing a conservatory education with the objective of nurturing the creative potential of young dancers, musicians & actors.
The Center also welcomes outside performing arts organizations and teaching artists to rehearse, educate and inspire the adult community.

At the Huntington Ballet Academy, we offer our students an American Ballet Theatre (R) National Training Curriculum. ABT’s National Training Curriculum is a program for the development and training of young students that embraces sound ballet principles and incorporates elements of the French, Italian and Russian schools of training.
The Long Island Ballet Theatre (LIBT) is a not-for-profit ballet company dedicated to providing young dancers with the opportunity to perform side by side with professional dancers. LIBT is a community-based ballet troupe that holds open auditions for every production. This insures consistently high quality performances worthy of featuring some of today’s foremost professional dancers.

Our family has been at the center for 6 years now (my oldest daughter started Suzuki violin at age 2.5 and ballet not long after. All 3 are now violin/ballet students there.) I have seen tremendous growth in their music and ballet technique. Perhaps even more importantly, I have found they have developed important skills like patience, confidence and poise that transfer to many other areas. The programs are age appropriate, nurturing, and fun. Even on the darkest, coldest days of winter, they always go racing in. The Center has truly become a home away from home for us and I highly, highly recommend it!
