Did you hear about how the Easter Bunny made certain the children of Huntington had the opportunity to participate in a hopping good time?
On April 11, 2017, the Town of Huntington and Councilman Mark Cuthbertson (along with a little assistance from a large, white, and mostly silent bunny), hosted the annual Spring Eggstravaganza for eager egg hunters.
This festive 'rite of spring' event in Huntington is held every year the week before Easter.
Pre-registration is required for the event which, accommodates ages 3-8 years and always sells out quickly.
This year the Easter Bunny made an appearance, shown with him are Teagan, Delaney, and Mollie Finnegan from Northport.

Amongst the activities for children were basket making, bunny masks, painting Easter eggs and more. The attendees were delighted and enjoyed a beautiful day of sunshine at Heckscher Park in Huntington Village.
