PHOTOS: Bedell Vineyard Wine Dinner at Prime

Prime in Huntington is an iconic location with its breathtaking views of the Huntington Harbor and its exquisite décor. A restaurant that exudes excellence and ambiance for every season.

Every year in late winter, Prime hosts Bedell Cellars from Southold, New York for a wine pairing dinner. This year, it occurred on Thursday March 16th, 2017, and was a 3-course menu featuring a hand-selected wine every course to match perfectly. Paulo Villela is the long-time Wine and Beverage Director for the Bohlsen Restaurant Group who hosts winemakers and vineyards from all over the world on both their North and South Shore locations.

We had a chance to speak to the winemaker, Rich Olsen-Harbich about his experience working with Paulo and the Bohlsen Restaurant Group.

This year's menu featured the following dishes and wines:

First Course: Tempura Yellowfin Tuna paired with Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Second Course: Dry Aged New York Strip with Brazilian Lobster Tail paired with Cabernet Franc 2014

Third Course: Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse paired with Taste Red Blend 2015

The Bohlsen Restaurant Group features a unique wine dinner both at Prime, Huntington and Prime in Stamford, Connecticut every Wednesday evening for $45. Opt in for the wine pairings for an additional $15.
