On Sunday, May 6th, the skies may have been gray in Heckscher Park - but they only served to make the thousands of bright and colorful blossoms look even more vibrant by comparison, all for the viewing pleasure of attendees at the Town of Huntington’s 18th Annual Tulip Festival!
Families and friends from all over Long Island converged on the scenic and historic park in Huntington Village for this popular rite of spring which featured live music, performers, a diverse selection of children's activity booths, a school art contest, lectures, demonstrations, food, refreshments, and tulips galore - in all of the vivid colors of the season!
Living Huntington photographer Tisa Cassidy was present on the scene with her camera in hand! Have a look and see if you recognize any of your neighbors!
