On a sunny, June morning we decided to stop by the Northport Farmer’s Market for our first trip of the 2019 season!

Located in the parking lot right next to the harbor, the Market is open every Saturday from 8am-12:30pm. We enjoyed our stroll through the booths, while feeling the cool breeze and listening to the live music which changes throughout the season. If you happen to arrive hungry, there is no shortage of things to snack on, including freshly baked pastries, breads, local pickles and more!

Some of our favorite booths included Mama Monty Breads, featuring Italian stuffed breads, and Horman’s Pickles, selling any variety of pickle you can imagine. Of course there are local farms selling fresh, in season produce, perfect for whipping up some grilled vegetables and salads. We even spotted a strawberries and rhubarb, just begging to be baked into a pie! If you aren’t in the mood to cook, then pick up some homemade fresh pasta from Bambino Ravioli, along with some sausage from Ridgewood Pork Store.

Be sure to stop by the Northport Farmer’s Market, which will be open through the fall!
