The Huntington Fire Department passed a major milestone this year – celebrating 175 years of service at the Huntington Firehouse.
And on July 28th, they celebrated the occasion in a MAJOR way — with a grand parade beginning at Town Hall and winding through the Village of Huntington ending at the Huntington firehouse, and then followed immediately by a fair and block party!
The hot summer day brought out the crowds to watch as the wide variety of firetrucks, departments, and marching bands honored the big anniversary!
The block party after the parade was a true afternoon of fun, friendship, food, games, and live music with something for everyone – including a big beer tent for the adults and bouncy houses for the kids!
