Fall was in full swing this past weekend at the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery and Aquarium!
On September 28 they held their Fall Festival Fundraiser which featured activities for the whole family.
While the weather was still warm, everyone was feeling festive surrounded by pumpkins, mums, popcorn and laughing children! Of course there was fishing, as well as a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, games, crafts, food, music and entertainment.
The Fish Hatchery is a unique place to explore, right in our town of Huntington.
“After 99 years as a New York State trout hatchery, we opened as a non-profit educational center dedicated to educating our visitors about the freshwater ecosystems of New York. We are proud to have the largest living collection of New York State freshwater reptiles, fishes and amphibians.”
