The Arena Players Children’s Theater will open its holiday show, Beauty and the Beast’s Magical Christmas, on Saturday, December 5, at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum’s Carriage House Theater. The museum is located at 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, N.Y.

Living Huntington recently sat down with Lenny Tortora III to talk about his family’s long history in Huntington Village. This coming May, L&L Camera will be celebrating their 60th anniversary in the same location. His Dad, Len II, opened L&L in May, 1956, upon returning from the Korean War.

Northport residents and merchants gathered on Dec. 7th for the Pearl Harbor Memorial service by members of the Northport American Legion Post 694 to mark the anniversary of (and to honor the Americans who took place in) the attack against the US Naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by the Japanese Imperial Navy during WWII.
