Besito Mexican | Huntington

Each restaurant is a love story. Our locations are an extension of the connection and respect we feel for one another and the food we share. Besito was founded by restaurateur John Tunney after years of travel in Mexico working to understand its cuisine and its people.

The spirit of Mexico is found in its flavors and In 2006, when he opened his first location, he knew he was embarking on something special, something that would become not only a unique dining experience, but a family and cultural experience.

While our passion for extraordinary food is what inspired Besito - it's the people-our team members and our guests, that breathe a special life into each location. Their devotion and character is what gives Besito spirit. We cherish our amazing connection to our guests… it is the reason we continue to strive for excellence and the core of what I believe to be the culture of cuisine. Please enjoy your visit to Besito.

Cafe Red | Kings Park

If you enjoy the Huntington Village restaurants that include Red Restaurant, Osteria de Nino, and Sapsuckers - then you will also love Huntington restaurateur Nino Antuzzi's other restaurant in Kings Park: Cafe Red!

Cafe Red features American & Italian cooking with hints of Asian fusion on their hybrid menu with favorites from Red & Osteria Da Nino.

Nino credits his success as a restaurateur to his upbringing and habits passed on from his mother, who calls Sardinia, Italy home. Growing up with "limited resources," mother taught Nino to waste nothing, to use local products, and to bring as much healthy influence into the cooking as possible.

This successful culinary approach has led to plenty of delightful decliciousness at Cafe Red through dishes like: Hay & Straw (fresh semolina & spinach pasta with mushrooms, cream & white truffle oil); Pork Shank Osso Bucco (slow braised with white wine, mirepoix, tomato & herbs, served over mashed potatoes); and Ora King Salmon (sesame crusted, sweet soy glaze & wasabi aioli, jasmine rice & steamed vegetables).

Click through below to see the full menu!

Cafe Red is now open for outdoor and indoor seating as well as curbside pickup. Please note they highly recommend a reservation as they are restricted to limited seating.

Leilu | Huntington

James and Meghan LaCourte have both spent their entire lives growing up and living in Huntington, Long Island. Their love for their home town is only rivaled by their passion for great hospitality and experiencing new and exciting foods and wine.

The design and decor of Leilu is, in a way, a reflection of how their menu was built. A sense of comfort and home, yet with a modern edge.

The menu itself will hold on to some guest favorites, but rotate through seasonal ingredients in order to hold true to sourcing locally and supporting local Long Island and New York businesses.

Leilu is open for indoor dining and has been serving a full menu of food (including Family Meals) and wine/beer/cocktails to go. Check out their online ordering menu for details.

Osteria Da Nino | Huntington

Chef Nino Antuzzi was born & raised in the mountains of Sardegna, Italy.

His family nurtured a love of cooking, a respect of food & how it relates to a sense of place. Nino would further hone his culinary skills while traveling through London, Paris & NYC before ultimately finding his home away from home in Huntington.

Osteria Da Nino was opened in September 2003 as a rustic, Italian restaurant featuring the recipes of Nino’s mother & his sisters. Renovated in 2014, the restaurant now boasts a charming bar area with an extensive ‘wine on tap’ system. The wine program features rotating wineries & varietals, poured by the glass, quartino & carafe. We also offer specialty cocktails, craft beer & bottled wine.

We look forward to seeing you for a meal of Italian food ‘made with love’.

Join us in our intimate yet casual bar or dining room & enjoy the warm & gracious service of our esteemed staff.

“I stopped into this place for lunch with my friend a few weeks ago for a late brunch & they did not disappoint. It was late afternoon & they weren’t as busy. We were seated when we walked in, without a reservation. We ordered the Osteria salad with grilled chicken & the Bianca pizza with mushrooms & truffle oil. Everything was delicious. We ordered coffee (it was really good!) and there was no room left for dessert because we were full! Our server was attentive & very nice. The decor was on point- rustic with antique chandeliers, and a fun, chill vibe. The prices were reasonable. The bill was around $30 for two. I would highly recommend & I will return :)” — Caterina P.’s Five-star review on Yelp
