Laugh and Cry with Neil Simon

Neil Simon was America’s most prolific and successful playwright, the master who helped redefine humor on Broadway and in film. 

He has written over 30 plays, most famously including Barefoot in the Park and the Odd Couple which won a Tony Award!

Simon received more Oscar and Tony nominations than any other writer, winning a Tony Award for Biloxi Blues, and Lost in Yonkers, as well as a Golden Globe for The Goodbye Girl

This event will be hosted by Shirley Romaine, who is an actress and TV personality from Great Neck.

Romaine has appeared in plays on and off Broadway, and is currently featured in original programs which incorporate theater, art, dance, music and poetry! 

The program includes selected highlights from his biography, clips from some of his films and a live performance from one of his greatest plays.
