She will be debuting at Lincoln Center on April 28, the country's first modern performing arts center, which represents some of the highest standards in opera, symphonic and chamber music, theater, jazz, dance, world music, film and arts education.
Jiji is an award-winning guitarist who plays music ranging from Bach to Reich.
Some of the pieces that she will be playing at the Cinema Arts Centre include Claudia Sessa, Leo Brouwer, Isaac Albeniz, D. Scarlatti, Marin Marais, J.S. Bach, and Steve Reich.
The talented musician was born in Seoul, South Korea and has been playing guitar since she was just nine years old. She attended the Korea National University of Arts at age fourteen.
Her performances have been witnessed in some of the most prestigious locations, including Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She has also been featured on PBS and NPR!
Tickets for the performance at Cinema Arts are $11 for members and $16 for the public.
