The 8th annual Girls Inc Gala (presented by Northwell Health) took place on November 7, 2019, at The Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York; honoring industry leaders who inspire girls to be strong, bold and smart.

But even the rainy autumn chill in the air didn't deter bunches of costume-clad fun-seekers from heading into Huntington Village to participate in the Huntington Halloween Bar Crawl (hosted by Long Island Social Events) - a perfect excuse to enjoy some excellent food and drink at MULTIPLE Huntington establishments while ALSO dressed up in some crazy outfits AND benefiting an excellent cause!
The Huntington Fire Department passed a major milestone this year - celebrating 175 years of service at the Huntington Firehouse.
And on July 28th, they celebrated the occasion in a MAJOR way -- with a grand parade beginning at Town Hall and winding through the Village of Huntington ending at the Huntington firehouse, and then followed immediately by a fair and block party!
